Maddy Shred

Maddy (they/them) is a senior PhD candidate in the Brouhard Lab studying microtubule structure and dynamics. They are currently an organizer for the McGill Queer Grad Club, McGill Tea4T, and Out Loud symposium to support and connect queer students on campus. Previously, they were VP of Communications for the CRBS Student Council and organized the Biology student research seminars. They hope to help make STEM a more equitable & welcoming place for people with diverse backgrounds and experiences through their work with the CRBS EDI committee and other groups.
